Work is underway by ACE Trains running samples for eventual production high pressure steam versions of the Streamlined 'Coronation' E/12S and A4 E/4S based on John Shawe's classic pre production sample that was tested over hundreds of hours including outings at Telford and other gauge O live steam meetings.

Whereas the 'Coronation' body and tender will also be offered in electric the A4 version will only be released as a live steam version. Entirely new body tooling is being created for both types.

More news as things progress.

John Shawe has been retained to guide this project. John's original sample will remain abroad for some time.
